LIKE A REVELATION
A FEW WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER
Nothing predestined me for the world of coffee. Until that moment, that revelation. Until that day, when a friend served me a cup of Ethiopian coffee that he prepared by hand using a filter. It was nothing like an Italian espresso or cappuccino. From the very first sip, I discovered floral and fruity notes that were as delicious as they were unexpected.
It was love at first sight. And so began my story with speciality coffees. I was soon forced to moderate my consumption to avoid the unpleasant effects of excess caffeine. But it was hard to give up the pleasure of a good cup of coffee. So I turned to decaffeinated coffees. But what a disappointment, given their poor taste. Why does decaf seem doomed to mediocrity and speciality coffee reserved for a circle of initiates?
I'm trying to understand and discover the world of coffee.
I trained in sensory analysis with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) up to professional level, which is the starting point for dialogue with partners, so that I can express nuances with precision. This expertise is a far cry from my many years of experience working for service companies in the digital sector.
However, I went for it! My passion for coffee and the great people who work in the industry won out. I surround myself with the best people for production, decaffeination and roasting.
I created Les Révélations, the brand of gourmet coffee with no caffeine, no limits and no complexes.
