This typical Kenyan coffee comes from several washing stations run by one of the FCS (Farmers Cooperative Societies) cooperatives located in the Nyeri and Kirinyaga regions. This lot is mainly grown by smallholders: they own on average no more than 200 coffee trees. They bring the freshly picked ripe coffee cherries to one of the cooperative stations to be pulped, washed and dried on raised beds.
